September 7 is shaping up to be a big day for tech enthusiasts. Not only will Apple be holding its customary iPhone launch event, but Sony is now expected to unveil the new PlayStation 4 Neo. The Japanese corporation just sent out press invites for their event in New York, again, to be held on the 7th.
The contents of the conference, dubbed “PlayStation Meeting,” have yet to be disclosed, as Sony has simply revealed plans to “share details about the PlayStation business.” All signs, however, suggest that the company will be officially introducing the previously-confirmed PS4 Neo. The successor to the PlayStation 4, the new console is expected to be significantly more powerful in order to support more demanding games, as well as the PlayStation VR headset.
