2016 sees Nike expanding the scope of its young Air Max Day tradition in grand scale, introducing a three-city celebration of the iconic Air Max legacy in NYC, Tokyo and Hong Kong. The Air Max Con in Hong Kong — entitled “Factory of Air” — spans two floors of whimsical, pastel-colored installations and interactive shoe displays housed within the Hong Kong Fringe Club, a creative hub housed in a historic dairy depot dating back to the nineteenth century. The build-outs within are inspired by the fantasy film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, paying tribute to the limitless imagination and creativity that has suffused the entire Air Max family.
Air Max Con Hong Kong takes place at 2 Lower Albert Road, Central, Hong Kong. While online registration is full, the event will be open to the public (via walk-in) March 24 to 26 from 11am to 9pm, and on March 27 from 11am to 6pm.
